VEHICLE DESCRIPTION This is a chance to own a great example of a square taillight BMW 2002 tii. This car has matching numbers and has never been in an accident. The car has all of the factory 2002 tii goodies on it, such as: boxed rear trailing arms, bigger brakes, interior clock, tii manifold, tii mechanical advanced distributor, high compression pistons, and original fuel injection. The car has been very well maintained. The car has clean title. Since my purchase I have only used it on occasional weekends. Unfortunately I do not have the money or the time to fix the rust on the rear subframe which should be attended to. This BMW 2002 tii is in good shape and I am happy to show this car or answer any questions. Call Scott 505-986-6181. HISTORY This car was originally sold in Buffalo, NY. I am the second owner. The car was transported to Santa Fe, NM.. I purchased the BMW from the first owner who used it as her summer car. I purchased the car recently to restore it to factory condition but I am unable to devote the time and money to the project. Exterior: The car is painted Sahara, which is in good shape but has a few chips. The original color was brown. This car has some rust on it on the underside and and rear subframe as the original owner lived in Buffalo, NY. The driver and passenger floortrays have been replaced and the rear shock wells in the trunk have been replaced with new welded in steel. The trim is in very good shape as are the bumpers. The sunroof is sealed and I have not tried to open it. It is the original factory sun roof and is manual crank. The transmission is the original 4 speed and shifts smoothly. Interior: The interior of the BMW is completely original and is near perfect shape. The interior is original buff color and the door panels, seats, dash, headliner, and carpet are in near perfect condition. The car includes the original Blaupunkt stereo system though the radio needs a fuse and Im not sure it works. Wheels: This car has the original rims with plenty of tread on the tires and it handles very well. Engine/Driveline:The engine has 130,000 original miles on it. This is a very sold and strong engine that fires right up. This engine does NOT ping, miss or backfire. The BMW does NOT grind between any gears and feels crisp. The differential does NOT leak. OVERALL This is a great running2002tii Everything about this car is solid from the doors shutting smoothly to the engine at all RPMs to the immaculate interior. All of the lights, hazard lights, wipers, buzzers work on this car. The horn is not working and the turn signals only work when I use the hazard lights. This car always starts and has great pick up and handles great. This is an amazing vehicle that just needs some attention to the rust on the rear subframe.
