WOW, a genuine BARN FIND! No mistaking it.....this car has been sitting for years! This car was a local charity donation from what we believe to be the second owner. This is going to be a hard car to describe as we don't have a lot of history on the car. This is 1976 Firebird "Esprit" with a 350 Pontiac engine and auto transmission. The Esprit was marketed as the luxury model in the Firebird lineup. Options include deluxe interior group, air conditioning, Am/fm and console mounted 8 Track player, half vinyl roof, hood reveal moulding, wheel well trim and rocker trim. Also equipped with power brakes, power steering, and Rally II wheels. Appears to be all original with exception headliner and paint. Car was originally yellow now poorly painted black. Odometer reads 13,000 miles and we actually believe this to be original. While that may seem hard to believe, the interior is all original and while not perfect, it is about as nice as can be with a car of this age. Catalytic convertor and exhaust appear original and in remarkable condition. All vacuum lines and wires appear original. Paper air intake house is still in place. Doors are not sagged. Car runs incredible, idle is quiet and smooth and car drives fine although given the years it sat, we don't recommend that you drive any long distances. As mentioned, interior is nearly a time capsule with only a small rip on drivers seat, water stain on rear deck and crack in console lid as the only detractions. Steering wheel still has all grain. Original carpet is excellent. Dash is a bit discolored but not brittle and not cracked! Original jack and spare are in place and look to have never been touched. Owners manuals also included as shown. We put good used tires on cars to replace ages old whitewalls. Okay, heres the bad info. Trunk floor is badly rotted, rear roll pan is badly rotted and drivers rear quarter is rotted. The rear "doglegs" has some pretty heavy rust as well. The paint job is poor and falling apart in places. Somone did a pretty ugly job of undercoating the door jambs and under the hood. Radio works intermitently and fuel gauge does not work. Car definitely looks to have sat for a long time judging from the underside but the floors themselves seem okay. Bottoms of doors not bad, front bumper, fenders and hood all great. Needs full restoration or GREAT to use for parts. It is badly rotted on the back end as you can see. Great for donor or parts especially given the low milege and condition of interior.
