This is a 1967 Mustang GTA convertible, with a 289 V8 automatic, we are the 3rd owner of this car. This is a very rare car, the GTA's were only produced for one year. Total production of luxury convertibles in all engine variations for 1967 was only 4,848. Now take into account that only 5% of mustangs total production was equipped with the GT option and only 8% of them were convertibles, so that means there were only a handful ever produced. We purchased it back in 1989, ran it for 3,000 miles and then it was parked in a barn in hopes of being restored. Everything on the car is original, as you can see the hood was painted which was souley done to prevent it from rusting. We got it running with little effort and it looks like everything is in working order. Turn signals, brake lights, headlights, horn, radio, hood turn signals are all in working order. Frame and body seems to be in good shape, with exception of a dent on the right side of the car which was there when it was purchased in 1989. We have the original owners manual with the orginial owners information. I restore cars for a living and this was one we had hoped to fix up some day. From experience I know this one is a very good start to a very nice car. As time has passed I dont have the time to restore this one for myself I am do busy working on restoring other peoples. This is a great project and is off to a good head start in restoring sense, it has a good base. This car has a lot of potential.
