Want to own a real American Icon ?! This 1968 Ford Mustang is a VERY RARE - Special Order - Golden Nugget Special Edition which according to Ford build numbers only 481 were made in 1968 !! All Golden Nugget Special Editions came in only one color - Code "Y" - Sunlit Gold Metallic with specially painted - Code "5" - Black hood stripes and body side stripes, full Black vinyl tops and they all came from the factory with a golden dash plaque noting the Golden Nugget Edition and the original owners name (shown in a picture below). Like this particular car all true Golden Nugget Mustangs had a DSO code of 74111 on their original Ford drivers side door mounted data plate which decode as ("74" Seattle) ("111" Special order). As you can see in one of the pictures of this cars data plate the DSO code is correct proving that this is a true Golden Nugget Special Edition car from the factory NOT A CLONE !!What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! This car is sound and in WONDERFULL shape and is a TIGHT - NICE - DRY - Montana - High Mountain Desert Idaho - Western car which NEVER fails to turn heads. In my opinion your not going to find much nicer ORIGINAL FLOORS than the ones on this car !! This car shows and runs very well. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself. You won't be disappointed !! It has what appears to be the STRONG - ORIGINAL - Code "J" - 302 CID V8 Motor in it with a four barrell carb. The engine is backed by the smooth - code "W" - C4 - three speed automatic transmission which also functions very well. The odometer reads 1,724 but true miles are unknown. Just look at this thing though !! The original style - code "2A" - Black vinyl Interior is in nice shape including VERY NICE Black vinyl front bucket seats, VERY NICE Black vinyl rear seat, VERY NICE matching Black door panels, NICE ORIGINAL dash, VERY NICE Black dash pad with NO CRACKS, good ORIGINAL gauge clusters including a 120mph speedometer, good ORIGINAL steering wheel and VERY NICE Black carpeting. This is a sharp car ! This Mustang is quite a deal and you will be surprised at the low reserve. This Pony has outstanding looks and smooth power as well ! It is nicely equipped including FACTORY Power Steering, ORIGINAL drivers side chrome remote exterior rear view mirror, front and rear seat belts, day / night rear view mirror, working factory back up lights, good heater and defroster, factory gauge package, factory "T" handle floor mounted shifter and an aftermarket digital AM FM stereo radio / cassette tape player. All of the original light lenses and reflectors are clear, bright, uncracked and in nice shape. After a Pony car that dreams are made of ? Want to own a real American Icon ?! This 1968 Ford Mustang is a VERY RARE - Special Order - Golden Nugget Special Edition which according to Ford build numbers only 481 were made in 1968 !! All Golden Nugget Special Editions came in only one color - Code "Y" - Sunlit Gold Metallic with specially painted - Code "5" - Black hood stripes and body side stripes, full Black vinyl tops and they all came from the factory with a golden dash plaque noting the Golden Nugget Edition and the original owners name (shown in a picture below). Like this particular car all true Golden Nugget Mustangs had a DSO code of 74111 on their original Ford drivers side door mounted data plate which decode as ("74" Seattle) ("111" Special order). As you can see in one of the pictures of this cars data plate the DSO code is correct proving that this is a true Golden Nugget Special Edition car from the factory NOT A CLONE !!What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! This car is sound and in WONDERFULL shape and is a TIGHT - NICE - DRY - Montana - High Mountain Desert Idaho - Western car which NEVER fails to turn heads. It has what appears to be the STRONG - ORIGINAL - Code "J" - 302 CID V8 Motor in it with a four barrell carb. The engine is backed by the smooth - code "W" - C4 - three speed automatic transmission which also functions very well. The odometer reads 1,724 but true miles are unknown. Just look at this thing though !! The original style - code "2A" - Black vinyl Interior is in nice shape including VERY NICE Black vinyl front bucket seats, VERY NICE Black vinyl rear seat, VERY NICE matching Black door panels, NICE ORIGINAL dash, VERY NICE Black dash pad with NO CRACKS, good ORIGINAL gauge clusters including a 120mph speedometer, good ORIGINAL steering wheel and VERY NICE Black carpeting. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. We prefere a bank to bank wire transfer of funds as payment as this is the safest for you and for us. We do not accept any paypal payments. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of the auction ending. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
If you are not sure about something, Please ASK. Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback or excessive bid cancellations. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale.
