I am offering for sale a nice 1946 Willys CJ-2A.I have owned for 10 years and bought from a friend who owned for about 30 years.He restored about 20 years ago and used very little .It has always been inside.It starts easy .Has both choke and throttle cables.Has dual heaters,( left & right side ) Vinyl seats with small breaks in vinyl .Floor boards front and rear have been plated and painted when jeep was painted.Tool box under right seat is clean and not rusty as most are .Underside is not rusted out .Transmission , transfer case seaps gear oil at seals as most do at this age ,but doesn't run out.I replaced the speedometer after it broke and it shows 18 miles .I am sure it has high miles so I am saying in excess of mechanical limits.Transmission has high /low range . 6 volt generator has been replaced with alternator and is now a 12 volt system.Lights work and has a good older style horn. (VERY LOUD ) This jeep has not been mudded or crawled rocks in 30 years. Tires are not new and some weather checking but have good tread and stay aired up.Please remember this is a 1946 Willys not a late model Wrangler. It will most likely continue to go up ,not down in value.
