1968 Ford Mustang Coupe Barn Find Great Project Car Low Reserve of $2000.00 Car will come with Bill of Sale and Title This auction is for a 1968 Ford Mustang 2-Door Coupe. This car has an extremely solid body. Has all glass but front windshield is cracked and rear glass is out of car. It is a 289 engine C-4 Trans with center console shifter. We don't know that it runs we have never tried to start. It had a vinyl top but was pulled off. We have the center console,front and rear seats but do not know if front seats are original. The seats are in great condition with no rips,holes,or wear marks. The floorboards in this car are perfect as well as the trunk. There is a hole underneath where the rear passenger seat would be. There was a towel sitting there that must of kept getting wet which caused the hole. Frame rails at leaf spring rear are in the best condition that I have seen. This is a common place for them to rot at the leaf spring shackle. I have added pics of them. Body is in excellent condition and complete except for a dent on passenger side rear quarter. This car will need 2 5-lug tires to roll onto trailer. It was dragged out of the barn due to 2 of the tires would not hold air. This is a factory air car. We may not have the title available as quickly as we anticipated. We should know something on 7/7/12 and will post accordingly.The person who owned this car is now deceased. His wife had to apply for a new title due to him passing before the title was put in his name. We have the original title that he signed on the back as the buyer. He passed on soon after buying the car.That is why they have sat for 20 some odd years. We are waiting for the new title with her name on it. We should get it soon. We thought we would have it by the end of the auction but they said it would be slightly longer. Any questions just message me.
