1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 in excellent condition with about 158,000 original miles. Im selling this truck for a friend of mine who is a 20+year mechanic at Desert Toyota here in Las Vegas. He has owned this Cruiser for the last 6 years and decided to let it go due to a recent addition to his family. He said he has never took the truck off road and it shows. The man that he bought it from was older and sold him the truck to get into a new car 6 years ago. Since then mostly highway miles. Some of the things that he had added to the truck over the years include: -3 inch lift, front and back-Roof rack, Defend Rack-off road lights mounted on rack-Wheel and tires, 12.5 inch wide BFGs on black 15 inch rims. -Stereo, Kenwood ipod usb-Exhaust megaflow-cold air intake-Tint All the maintenance was done by him at Desert toyota. Oil, filter, spark plugs, battery, etc. Major work include: -valves seals and adjustment a couple of years ago.-New gas tank from a recall-timing belt replacement BODY: As far as i can see the truck is in great shape. Body is straight and engine is smooth. The engine compartment is clean as clean can be. There is no visible rust anywhere but there are a few nicks and dings on the body from normal wear but no major damages. Some of the clear coat came off the hood and roof, not oxidation. Some chrome trim could use some polish but still looks great. Underneath, there is no rust that i can see. INTERIOR: All the power windows and gauges and interior electronics works as it should. A/C Blows cold like a new car. Seats are clean with one rip on the drivers seat behind the right shoulder. The window lock switch on the master control switch seem to be broken off so that function does not work. The entire interior is original except the Kenwood stereo cd player. Dashboard has a few cracks but cannot be seen with the dash fabric cover. Headliner is clean with no rips. Carpet, panels, handles, locks, switches are all complete. Not missing anything and smells good too. ENGINES: Runs like new, sounds amazing, lots of power.TRANSMISSION: Shift normally and smooth. SUSPENSION: Very comfortable. STEERING: Tight and responsive. All in all, this Cruiser is super clean and is in the prime of its life. It will take you anywhere with hassle free driving. Not very many left in this condition. *Items included, not picture: - Fifth matching spare rims and tires. Original chrome steelies with worn tires are included too if needed.- tire mount for roof rack.- Remote for stereo.- original manual.- original jack and tools in the rear compartment.- lug nut anti theft key.- steering wheel lock and key.
