i am selling a 1957 gmc pickup.... if you are looking for a classic that can drive from coast to coast then you are looking at the right truck. this truck drives better then any classic i have ever owned. you can drive all day long at 70 or 80 mph... this truck drives straight when you take your hands off the wheel, no play in the steering, and has very touchy breaking. i am sure you will be very impressed with the way this truck drives,runs, steers, and breaks. the truck is not perfect, i would say the body and paint is a 7 out of 10. but still a very nice truck for the price. so if you are looking for a show car, this may not be for you. but if you are looking for something that is very clean and can drive hundreds of miles in comfort then this the truck for you. DRIVE TRAIN this truck sits on a 87 chevy truck frame, with a completely redone suspension. new balljoints, tie rods, bushings, front springs, shocks, rear shocks, leaf springs, and leaf shackles. the truck has power steering, power disk breaks and sits on brand new 15" american racing torque thrust rims and tires. it has a stock 350 with a edelbrock intake and edelbrock carb, 350 turbo trans and a stock 87 chevy truck rear end. INTERIOR very nice grey and black cloth interior. the carpet could use cleaning, but still very nice. it has tilt column, with a new billet specialties steering wheel, new dolphin white face gauges, which all work, and new lokar shifter. it has heat for them cool fall nights and wipers work encase you get stuck in the rain. the wiring has been redone along with the fuse box, so everything electrical works, even the horn. BODY the body and paint is a 7 out of 10. it is not show quality, but still very nice. it has some nics and dings, but thats ok, its a driver. there is absolutely no rust or bubbling. it has new cab corners, clean rockers and underbody. there is a spot on the passenger side fender where the previous owner tried to patch and color match and didnt do a very good job. also it has new front and rear bumpers, new mirrors, and new windows all the way around. this truck is being sold as is due to its age. i reserve the right to end this auction early do to local buyer. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close. balance due before title or truck is shipped. thanks and happy bidding, and please no trades offers.
