Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my Mustang convertible. It has a 3.8 litre V6. I am the fourth owner of this car and have owned it 7 years. The other three owners were all local, with the 3rd owner being my father. During the time I owned the car, I put on less than 5,000 miles (about 700 per year). The average annual mileage during the entire life of the car was less than 4,000. It currently has about 103,000 miles on it. To the best of my knowledge this car has been stored every winter since new. I use the car sparingly during the summer months only. As mentioned above, it is stored during the winter. It is a completely dependable car. It has never let me down. The convertible top works perfectly and is a power top. There is one small hole (less than 1/2") which shows in the pictures. The wondows are power and all work. I installed a new radio a couple of years ago that has a CD and an auxilary cord for hooking to an iphone allowing you to play music from it. The interior is in very good condition. There are no rips or tears and the white seats are very clean. The body of the car has no rust. I put new tires on in 2009 and they have about 2,000 miles on them and are basically still new. I also installed a new battery during that time. Here's the "bad." The heat and AC do not work. The heater core went out 2 years ago and although a new heater core is $60 plus labor to install it, I had no need for heat becuase I didn't drive it in cold weather. The AC may need a charge or it may require more. Again, as with the heater, I never used the air with the top down. There are also several stone chips behind both front wheels and on the hood. The pictures should show them. As I mentioned above, there is a 1/2" hole in the top. Finally, there is an area on the trunk lid where the clear coat has come off. You can see that in the picture as well. Most of the things wrong with the car weren't important to me because I use it as a summer car. If you want a car that you can zip around with the top down and depend on it, this is a good car for you. I am only selling it becuase I just bought myself a BMW and don't have winter storage room for both. The car is available to view or drive. I will also have it for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction. Feel free to call me, Pat, at 262-749-0361 if you have questions or would like to see it.
