Vehicle Detail
Original 60,468 miles. Purchased at the Kruse Auburn Auction where it was rated an 85. Their rating scale is 80 Fine and 90 Excellent and it is described as "well restored or a combination of superior restoration or excellent original condition." This is an unbelievable classic pick-up truck that has the same interior smell as you will remember when you were driving it in the 1960's. The motor sounds like new, and simply purrs at idle, yet has the torque to go to work! There is no accident history, and the paint is mostly original (the top, tailgate and bed have all been repainted prior to my purchase over 13 years ago). The drive train components have their original serial number tags still in place.Wax this truck once in the spring, and it looks remarkable all summer long. You can literally drive this classic to work, the grocery store, or enjoy the cheers in your local July 4th Parade. My family has enjoyed doing just that for many years - you will always have complements and those that want to share their stories of their father's truck during their youth.I have some of the original Ford repair/service manuals that are included, along with the original Ford sales brochures from 1964.This truck is one for the serious collector, and I prefer not to have it purchased to be modified - its just too nice, and too fun in its current state. Don't wait too long, as you will not want to miss having this in the July 4th and Labor Day parades. It will be a blast. Please see the pictures, and make your bid. Thank you.On Jun-25-12 at 09:46:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked to share a video of the truck starting and running.
