OUT OF STATE BIDDERS, ENJOY your bidding and good luck!! 2003 Honda Civic GX up for auction with NO RESERVE! 124,854 miles This vehicle is a one owner vehicle that was owned by the NEW YORK STATE Department of transportation. High bidder owns this car. It is fully-dedicated Compressed Natural Gas Car (CNG). This car only runs on CNG! Does not use gasoline I REPEAT . THIS CAR RUNS ON COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS NOT GASOLINE!! It does not currently run, as it is out of CNG and they do not have any filling stations near me. This car is 100% complete and the CNG system seems to be in good working order. Compressed natural gas tank is behind backseat This is a factory option, not somebodys home-rigged job. This car is THE REAL DEAL!!! It did run when i got the car last week, however it is now out of gas. Even though the car was running when last week, it will need mechanical repair. There is Oil that has mixed its way into the coolant in the radiator. I believe this means it needs a head gasket, but i am not sure. Motor turns over freely and starter works excellent. Car did not show signs of overheating when i had it running. The oil that is in the motor is clean and it does not look like any coolant has gotten into the crankcase, but I cannot be positive of this. Therefore, bring your trailer, because this car DOES NOT RUN AND NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED! Transmission shifted ok when I test drove the car on its last bit of CNG. Shifter cable probably needs to be replaced as the center console shifter feels "sticky" when shifting from park to drive. This is not a problem with the transmission, but rather with the shifter cable. Car shifts properly into all gears . Center console shifter does work good, it is just not as smooth as it would have been when new. Power windows, Power locks. 4 goodyear tires will pass inspection. no cracks in the windshield. BODY CONDITION Overall the paint shines nicely, and there is no major rust. there are the following defects There is surface rust on some parts underhood as pictured. There are scratches in the paint on the bottom of the passenger door and on the drivers front door from where there were decals removed. They have been touched up with touchup paint. There is a dent in the passenger front fender that also has a paint chip in it. This dent is pictured in the photos, and a smaller dent in the passenger front door. There are some very small rust bubbles by the CNG decal on the trunk. There is some rust that is on the bottom inner edge of both drivers side doors. normal surface rust underneath. not bad though. The interior is clean with no damage. The only flaw is the 3 adhesive tape marks on the top of the dash where someone had put a sticker of some sort.
