Look at the pictures. This is a very pretty original condition 280 SL, runs and drives like new, both tops, for sale by the second owner. The mileage indicates 2,500, but I believe that this has been around the clock and is over 100,000. No rust. Seats were originally MB tex which I replaced with leather and leather door panels. The wood dashboard surrounds have been refinished and there has been some delamination in the right corner visible in the pictures. One of the chrome handles for the hardtop fasteners at the B pillar has broken off and I use a pliers to turn the pin. Otherwise Everything works, including the radio. A/c needs a recharge each year. The soft top is the same color as the seats and looks like it might be the original from the wear and condition of the isinglass panel.The car has been maintained by a retired MB technician and is in wonderful working condition, always garaged. I bought it from the original owners who were well up in years some five or six years ago. This is a very pretty and a very functional car; I don't think that it is a winner at Scottsdale, but it will capture a lot of hearts and turn heads at local shows. The soft top goes up and down easily and is not shown in the pictures because getting the hardtop off is really a two person job; I do have a rolling stand and a cover to store the hardtop. The trunk is totally original and has the tools. The bottom edges of the doors, trunk running boards, all, are free of rust and straight and rust free at the bottom edges. I tried to capture that in the photos. I used to have the bill of sale to the original owner but not sure I can find it today.
