The AACA Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania is offering a 1981 VW Rabbit 4-door Sedan. The car has 153,016 miles and has a 4 cylinder diesel engine with a 4 speed transmission. The front bumber is in good condition with some scratches but the rear bumber is pushed in a bit. The interior is in fair condition for the car's age except for a tear on the driver's seat. The paint presentable with some scratches and chips. There is a scrape on the driver's side rear fender lip. The VW logo is missing on the front of the car but is easily replaced. The car is not running, accordingly the condition of the radio and air conditioning/heater cannot be verified. The 1981 VW Rabbit is accurately represented in the photographs but interested parties are encouraged to ask questions and/or schedule a personal inspection. The vehicle is offered as, where is, with no warranty expressed or implied. It has a valid Pennsylvania Title which will be transferred to the new owner upon successful completion of this auction with verified payment. Shipping and transportation of the car are the responsibility of the new owner. We will gladly work with you or the shipper/transporter of your choice to coordinate the move. The new owner will have two weeks from the completion of the auction to pick up the vehicle, otherwise a storage fee will be charged. Payment must be made within four business days after the auction's close in the form of a cashier's/bank check or bank wire transfer. Payment will require clearing through the Museum's bank account before the car and title will be released.
