Up for sale here is a 2007 Ford F-450 XL Super Duty Wrecker Style Tow Truck This is a great truck, and someone is going to get a great deal if they are ready to do a little work. We just took this in on trade here and have checked the vehicle over, it runs and drives, highway and city, even can tow in it's current condition. All of the towing features work 100% as they should with no issues there. We towed a car with it just to check everything and it did it well. The trans shifts great and works 100% as it should. There are other issues though, first the interior shows signs of being used as a work truck. The seats are dirty and the driver seat is pretty beat up. The power steering has a leak somewhere, not sure where. The tires are worn, have maybe 20% life left. The fuel gauge does not always work, has only worked when it was first dropped off here, now it always reads empty. It has an ABS light on, not sure what for, again popped on only after we took it in. Last is the "Check Engine" light, the truck does run and the truck does drive but it has a misfire at low RPM. I have driven it through the streets here, and on the highway before we took the trade to be sure it was not anything major. After doing a quick search online we found it is likely the "Cam Phasers" that need to be replaced to resolve the misfire. This is all we know about the truck, please understand that you are buying this "As-Is Where-Is" and we are not 100% sure what else it may need. I would have no issues trusting driving this home, but it does have a misfire at low RPM. We are a registered NY State Retail Auto Dealer.
