This is a beautiful white 1981 Spider. Good solid complete Spider with little to no rust. Driver condition and well maintained by Fiat specialist for the past 12 years. Paint and interior are not original. Interior was dyed black years ago and has held up great except for a couple areas on the hard plastics where the seat belts buckle. There are 2 cracks in the dash, but they are hardly visible as they run from the vents to the base of the windshield. Drivers seat was separating at the seam and currently has tape over it. Exterior paint has a few dings and trouble spots. One rust spot on the hood about the size of a quarter and a few dimples in the paint around the rear fender well. Left rear fender is a respray that doesn't perfectly match the rest of the car so car could use a new paint job overall. The top is in great condition with no leaks and the tires are like new. Fuel injected, 5 speed manual that shifts great. Have a car cover that fits the car well also. Past history: At 95,000 miles, installed timing belt and tensioner, lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, Complete tune up at 110,000 miles where they checked compression, rebuilt the air flow meter and reset the throttle plate. Within the past 2 years, have replaced the water pump and rebuilt the radiator but may still have a small coolant leak. Must keep coolant system bled or it will overheat. Has a small oil leak as well. $500 deposit due at end of auction. Buyer is responsible for pick up within 2 weeks of close of auction.
