1984 VW. rabbit diesel 2 dr.Was daily driver till clutch started slipping.Can still drive but have to really be careful and baby it.Windshield has crack. Interior is rough, back hatch does not latch.Solenoid needs replaced. I can start this car and drive it I put this motor and 5 spd. in a few months ago. I should have checked the clutch but i didn't,so within a few weeks time the clutch was slipping and I don't want to fix it so the car is for sale with 3 more motors, 1.6 diesels and three 4 spd trannys. One motor is complete and in running cond.the other two are pretty well complete but are for parts. One has new water pump ,three out of four have good injector pumps. The 5 spd in the car has jumped out of 5th gear a few times but seemed to do better after I adjusted linkage. I changed it over from 4spd. to 5spd so it might need little fine tuning. I have driven 2 of the 3- 4 spds they are fine. the 13 inch tires are fair also have complete set of 14 inch VW mags. I have new blower motor still in box, new tranny mount , two extra radiators, one extra fan probably a few other parts.The car is rough,but I have owned it since Feb of 09.
