1965 Ford Mustang – 302 Automatic – READ IT ALL PLEASE! Here is a decent driver quality 65 Ford Mustang. Many upgrades have been done. You will not win any shows or races, but you will have fun cruising and turning heads.The car is located 5 miles East of Annapolis, MD. It is not perfect and what I call a “driver quality” 6 footer. It’s pretty straight. Below you will find a full description of everything I know about the car. See the feedback there are no worries. Any questions please call 443-496-0701 and I will do my best to answer them. The Mustang starts, runs, drives , shifts, stops and cruises fine. It can be a little cold natured at start up, but once warmed up drives down the highway just fine. The good- - The body is rust free and straight - The doors have no sag in them - The motor starts and runs strong, no smoke - All guages work - All lights work - Bumpers and door handles are driver quality as is most chrome on the car, but chrome is cheap for these old Mustangs - New front and rear dashs - $1600 worth of new rims and tires - New gas tank - New mufflers and exhaust pipes - Headman headers - Front end completely rebuilt with new bushings, tie rod ends and lower control arms (still needs a front end alignment. It has a slight pull to the right) - Foor pans are solid - Paint is about 5 years old and looks fair – minor over spray on various locations - Front disk brakes - Newer carpet - All glass in good shape - Wipers work well - Upholstery is in great shape with 1 small rips, but not bad maybe 1/2" - New headliner - New fuel tank and trunk liner - The car runs cool and charges the battery - New dash pad on top - Interior door panels are great The not so great- - The interior lower metal dash board needs painted and new gauge bezel ($25). That would really enhance the interior - The motor runs strong however has a very small exhaust up near the header. It is hardly noticable and believe it to be the header gasket only can be heard at idle, a non issue. Easy fix. - Exterior door handles could use replaced, rather pitted and original - The paint in general has room for improvement. It does shine and looks good from 5-7 feet away. There are various chips, and small bubbles here and there. The car has room for improvement here and there but is over all a nice “driver quality” car.
