1949 Ford ShoeboxUp for sale is my Shoebox that has all the hard work completed and is in the perfect position to drive as you work on or cruise it just the way it is! Solid 1949 shoebox, was told it originally came from Arizona. Body has almost no cancer with the exception of front fenders which is minimal, ( see pics in link ). Body had been sandblasted and primed with all the layers of paint removed. All floors are in good shape, new metal around tranny cover, driveshaft tunnel. Chop was completed by previous owner, stock back window used, no glass in doors and front windshield is Lexan. Some filler used at rear of roof to smooth out. Shaved door handles. Front / Rear bumper in great condition. Grill is in excellent condition as well. Engine is a 350 with turbo 350 transmission, Column shifter used as gear shifter which keeps the stock look and works well. Finned valve covers on the small block, engine runs strong, good compression, Jamco front suspension-dropped spindles,springs,shocks, front disc brake conversion, lowering blocks in rear. Stock steering, has some play in box. New wiring kit, headlights and tail / Brake lights all work. Spun aluminum gas tank in trunk. Battery located in trunk.Coker G78-15 Whitewalls, front tires will need to be replaced soon. Comes with all stock garnish moldings.
