Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1976 Baja Beetle. The Mileage on the vehicle is 45489 as it says on the clock. The vehicle comes with over 12000 Dollars in receipted items. Keep in mind the odometer only goes to 99k and rolls over on these cars so it is a possibility it is indeed more than 45489. Also mileage ticker will go up slightly as I drive it to a weekly car show here and for viewings for potential buyers. Newer Items installed include Seats, Carpet kit (not perfect but looks great), Radio Infinity, Infinity speakers, , steering wheel, dash board, Gauge holder, Fiberglass flip up baja hood, Fiberglass "wing" , All fiber glass parts painted to match, new battery, Carbuerator, Empi Floor Mats, Empi Stinger Exhaust, Empi Exhaust Manifold, Scat Shifter, Empi Steelie wheels, New rear Tires put on last month (BFG goodrich All Terrains 31"), Tires in the front have 90% tread no cracking. Adjustable Coil shocks in the rear, Empi shocks in the front (could use replacing if using on the street found on many sites for 35 dollars each plus shipping). All New chrome around windows, New window rubbers all around. Push Button startup with key to prevent from being stolen. LED lights in the rear for blinkers. All blinkers/lights work. The Windshield wipers work and have new blades on them. Comes with replacement screen filter for oil. Silicone Boot that covers distributor for offroad use. Overall car is in excellent condition. The paint would be rated at a 9. There is normal dings, nothing is chipped, no fading or bubbling. Interior is rated at a 7. The carpet kit was a diy kit and some glue came loose but overall was done ok. The back seat has leather edging that has a tear because the seat picks up in the rear, it rubs on the seatbelt holster. Also The headliner on one side is coming loose and the glue is expose which is brown. The Headliner can be done brand new for an additional 600 dollars. Most respectable vw restorers charge 600-650 for a headliner removal as the windows have to be removed. Or the kit itself from empi cost 100 Bucks and you can diy. Clutch Replaced at 38k on the clock. Brakes were rebuilt not too long ago. Driven maybe 1500 miles a year to various car shows and what not. Additional pictures have been taken. For specific Pictures please call 3035884559. Is a great car drives awesome and really turns heads. Drives great at altitude here in colorado taken on many trips to the mountains (slow trips HAHA). FYI if it is driven at a different altitude the carb may need to be adjusted otherwise might be underpowered or putter or possibly die out, buyer is responsible for carb adjusting. Motor is 1600cc Vw dual port. Single carb. Possible negotiation on price for serious buyers. Buyer Pays shipping and is responsible for finding a good trustworthy company. This vehicle is a USED vehicle and will be sold as is. In an AS IS situation there is obviously no returns. Seller accepts no responsibility, being that there is no way of knowing how the vehicle will be handled by buyers.
