She is a survivor, and very original except for the work I’ve done or had done. I am technically the 4th owner, but only 2 families had her before me. She is a California Bus, Fuel injected, 2000cc stock engine, with California emissions package (catalytic converter and 02 sensor). Here is a list of the work I’ve had done: Complete Engine Overhaul done by Glen at Hilltop Motors ($5K). New engine has 1500 miles on it. I changed the oil 3 times since the engine was rebuilt. It has also been finely tuned by Colin at IAC. Dakota Digital CHT Gauge installed in dash (connected to cylinder #3) New CV joints, New Clutch, New Oil Pump, New Hot-Start Relay Fuel Tank cleaned, new sender installed (for Fuel Gauge) New Fuel Lines, New Fuel Filter New Hankook RA08 Tires (including spare) Front seats completely rebuilt and reupholstered. Rear seats completely renovated. I stained the wood, and made the cushions removable with snaps. The cushions were replaced with the highest quality, brand new high-density foam (top and bottom). The stool was also reupholstered. Bench seats cushions were custom designed to button on the bench instead of “stapled” on like the factory. This makes the cushions easily removable to for cleaning or to haul cargo. Kitchen fully functional – Fridge works, Sink works. The gas stove works but I have noticed a small leak when the valve is open fully. New Front Windshield, front painted for Windshield rust repair Kenwood Receiver (50x4w) CD player with MP3 jack, SIRIUS capable New Kenwood speakers (front and rear) Seat Belts upgraded (still have original) Locking Fuel Filler cap VW Scissor Jack (better than original, original also included) New Rear Tail Lamp Housings and Seals (VW from Germany) New Regular Battery (8/22/11) – 2-year free replacement New Auxillary Battery (4/10/12) – 18 month free replacement (65 mo. Warranty) New interior dome light (front) 3rd Brake Light installed for safety Bronze tinted windows in the rear (lifetime warranty) New Hemp Canvas for Pop-Top New Paint on Pop-Top and all new seals Fiberglass insulation above headliner replaced with bubble insulation (pictures) Yakima Rack Rails installed Interior plastic/vinyl panels replaced with thicker, sturdier vinyl Brakes are at 20% - (New Disc pads included) Treated the (regular) battery tray with POR15 black paint to prevent rust. Treated the rain gutters with clear POR15 to prevent rust (has a brownish tint). All rocker panels are solid Original door panels, dash, carpet, cabinetry Bus Depot EZY Awning Plus I had the front-end repainted because of the the classic windshield rust issue. Pictures are online of all the major upgrades. I wired the stereo system, the sink, and the cigarette lighter adapter in the back to the Aux battery. 1979 – California Volkswagen Campmobile (P27 Westfalia)

Jenny has 176,812 original miles. She is a survivor, and very original except for the work I’ve done or had done. I am technically the 4^th owner, but only 2 families had her before me. She is a California Bus, Fuel injected, 2000cc stock engine, with California emissions package (catalytic converter and 02 sensor).

Here is a list of the work I’ve had done:

Complete Engine Overhaul done by Glen at Hilltop Motors ($5K). New engine has 1500 miles on it. I changed the oil 3 times since the engine was rebuilt. It has also been finely tuned by Colin at IAC.

Dakota Digital CHT Gauge installed in dash (connected to cylinder #3)

New CV joints, New Clutch, New Oil Pump, New Hot-Start Relay

Fuel Tank cleaned, new sender installed (for Fuel Gauge)

New Fuel Lines, New Fuel Filter

New Hankook RA08 Tires (including spare)

Front seats completely rebuilt and reupholstered. Rear seats completely renovated. I stained the wood, and made the cushions removable with snaps. The cushions were replaced with the highest quality, brand new high-density foam (top and bottom). The stool was also reupholstered. Bench seats cushions were custom designed to button on the bench instead of “stapled” on like the factory. This makes the cushions easily removable to for cleaning or to haul cargo.

Kitchen fully functional – Fridge works, Sink works. The gas stove works but I have noticed a small leak when the valve is open fully.

I had the front-end repainted because of the the classic windshield rust issue. Pictures are online of all the major upgrades. I wired the stereo system, the sink, and the cigarette lighter adapter in the back to the Aux battery.
