This is a 1986 Ford Ranger Pick up truck, with the original and rare diesel engine. Rangers were only equipped with this engine and transmission for the years 1985, 1986, and 1987. This truck has a 2.3 engine, and 5 speed manual transmission, with about 155,000 miles. It is a 4x4. The fuel economy is excellent with about 40mpg. Also plenty of power. The engine runs as it should, and transmisson shifts as it should, but the shifter knob is a bit sloppy. New ball joints installed recently. I am selling the truck for my uncle who currently drives it. . The windshield is cracked. It is an over 25 year old truck, so it might have other quirks. But, it is a daily driver. The truck has driven across country, and is reliable. It has a Florida title. The truck is virtually rust free, with only some spot above the wheel well for the back box. There is a small dent here as well. The undercarriage is in great shape. There is a tool box that goes with the truck. The interior is clean, with only a small area on the dash needing attention.
