Garage space is being lost this month so owner is offering this car at a LOW RESERVE auction WITH NEW PICTURES ADDED. CAR WILL SELL ON THIS AUCTION TO TOP BIDDER REGARDLESS OF PRICE. You are looking at a 1966 EURO model 300SE Mercedes Coupe. These 300 SE Coupes (and the 300SE Convertibles) were by far the most elegant examples of luxury vehicles Mercedes ever produced. Full front and back seats, power steering & individual air suspensions were just a few of the features of the 300SE. This particular coupe is also equipped with Factory Sunroof & A/C to help you drive in style. The interior of the car still retains the soft, supple leather feel from its earlier restore. The dash and most of the wood and leather trim hardly show any wear, seats only show minimal amount. There is isolated cracking spots/areas from sun exposure on rear ledge and tops of back seats. TOP OF THE LINE restore was done a few years back and still pretty luxurious. Car was just repainted for only the second time. Virtually no body rust. Underside has had a few patches and inner rocker holes, but overall decent for a 46 year old car. The drivetrain was recently started up and the 3.5 engine starts on first go round. (SEE VIDEO). Car needed new front air suspension bags and they were just added, for an even ride when car is started. (SEE RECENT PICTURE WITH ALL 4 TIRES UP TO CORRECT LEVEL BEFORE BEING PAINTED IN MAY) When car IS OFF air appears to settle car back down. it should probably need the lines blown out or a control valve adjustment. Should be an easy fix for any knowledgeable Mercedes mechanic. A/C and master window switch still need re-wiring to function properly. We have sent the window seitch to a mechanic as it appears to be only faulty contacts. All easy fixes. We did test all the windows and All windows roll up and down fine and sunroof opens and closes. These 300SE's are very hard to find. Weve made it a LOW RESERVE auction as this car WILL SELL ON THIS AUCTION. We will also accept BUY IT NOW offers should someone want to end the auction early. The goal is to get this car sold and picked up within 3 days of auction end. Car is in a private garage and new owners will be occupying this beach area house by June 22nd 2012 weekend .
