moefoe store Classic vintage 1978 white BMW E21 320i - 61,653 miles! MUST SEE! Up for auction is a classic 1978 BMW 320i with super low miles (61,653); I recently bought this car from a retired couple (last owners service records included) - with the idea that my wife & I could use as fun in-town transportation. Well - she loves the car but has a hard time steering at slow speeds (no power steering) so - reluctantly we are selling.. The car is in excellent shape for being 34 years old! - all original stock condition (no modifications/repaints, etc..) - original paint still has great shine and only typical rock chips to the front edge of the hood and minor dings/dents/chips here and there (see pics) - a couple small spots of surface rust along right rear passenger window (see pic) - interior is in excellent condition with the exception of typical cracks in the padded dash. Seats , original carpet & head liner are in great shape! Great running motor - easy to shift transmission - brakes reasonably good (remember; this car has disc on the front only - rear drum). Things (I know of) that need attention; Shocks! definitely needs front and more than likely rear shocks. Turn signals work but indicator lever needs cleaning/repair as you have to fuss with to engage blinker. AC works but is not cold and needs reconditioning. Heat fan motor works but may have a fuse or resistor problem (needs attention). spare tire is flat. Includes 2 repair manuals, original tire jack and tool kit (in trunk). Car is currently registered (California) and I have clear title (in my name). Also, has current smog check certificate. Keep in mind; You are buying a 34 yr old car - and there is no expressed or implied warrant or guarantee - sold as-is, where-is and as-shown. A $250 non-refundable deposit via PayPal is required within 24 hrs and the balance via certified funds, bank transfer or cash on pick up (within 7 days). Also note; If you are out of state and need to make arrangements for transport and/or pick up - I am flexible on a time frame for pick up and can store car for up to 2 months - BUT - full payment must be made within 10 days of auctions end.
