I bought this car a few months ago from a friend and have driven it from Los Angeles to San diego, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo and a bunch of other places since. I take it to Malibu 2-3 times a week. It is solid to drive and I love it, but I am moving with my girlfriend to Australia. Here is what my cool wagon has: -b18 -m41 w/od -ipd front and rear (rear not mounted) sway bars -a little stereo and speakers -sound deadening (could use some mlv) -subaru wrx seats (i understand this may piss some off, but you can remove them, sell them and purchase new original seats to fit in the original holes. I did not weld over the seat mounting holes or anything) -clean solid metal (there is a patch in the back passenger side. It is solid, I welded it myself. ...certified underwater welder ) -the original sway bar comes with it. -new speedo cable (not installed) -extra heater switch -all trim pieces that arent mounted -poly flooring for the front floor and the rear trunk area -terzo roof rack -some other small stuff I cant think of at the moment I love it the way it is, but to give it more of a completed look, it needs" - Interior door panels, side panels, kick panels etc... - Headliner - A little body work - A recover in the rear seat - dash cover - shift boot - brake boot - seals - fix an exhaust leak - obviously a bit of body hammering and a coat of paint. I really love this car, but I just cant take it with me or store it anywhere. It was/is the perfect surf wagon and I wish I could keep it. This car had 85hp from the factory so its not a rocket. It is built very solid and will run longer than you you will!! Its got almost 50 years already and with some love ti will go another 50. When I come back to the states, I will be looking for another one of these (maybe this same one!!). If you have any questions, please email me. I will be happy to talk to anyone interested. I have all of the registration certs form new (1963) and spotted service records since then as well. There is an extra set of keys for the car and the gas cap.
