Vehicle Detail

Exceptionally clean 2009 Mercedes Benz GL320 Diesel SUV. Best color combo: charcoal/silver exterior & dark charcoal interior. 50k miles. 2nd owner---I bought this from Texas in fall 2010 & have put on 35,000 miles in the last 18 months---almost all of which were highway miles between L.A. & Salt Lake City & lots of weekend trips to mountains/beach. Never off road aside from one 10 mile jaunt up a fire road in Big Bear/Holcomb Valley in the winter. I just purchased (May 2012) the extended Mercedes factory warranty from the dealership ($4800--it is transferable to new owner): 125k miles or October 2015, whichever comes first so you are looking at 75,000 miles and/or 3 1/2 years of worry free ownership. Car had to be inspected & certified by a MBZ dealer to qualify for the warranty, so rest assured that it is in great mechanical shape. Car has always been dealer serviced, except for one oil change in Salt Lake when the dealership wasn't available I have all dealer service records. New front brakes just put on 2 months ago. Overal MPG is awesome with the diesel---just shy of 20mpg (19.4 since I've owned it (I drive fast, and the vehicle always had bikes/cargo box/surfboards on top which affect MPG by 2-3)). Here is what the vehicle is equipped with (bascially has EVERY option available from MB for 2009):20" Goodyear Runflat tires on premium alloy rimsMBTex interior (this is standard on all Mercedes SUVs instead of leather---can't tell the difference in feel, but the MBTex wears great---NO noticeable wear on any of the seats (fwiw almost no GLs have actual leather))Rear entertainment system (monitors in headrests--factory), with wireless headphones (never used) & separate rear-only DVD player with game inputsKeyless entry & push button starting (really nice)Harmon Kardon sound systemBluetoothSirrus satellite (if you subscribe ($100 year))Navigation systemTele Aid (if you subscribe)Backup cameraFront & rear bumper parking sensors6 disc factory CD/DVD player2nd & 3rd row AC/HeatHeated seatsAll windows tintedElectric sun roof2nd row sun roofRunning boardsRoof rack (factory rails only--no cross bars ($120 on ebay--I used Thule Aeroblades & they worked great)Tow packageElectronic 3rd row seats (never used---always down)Automatic rear door open/close (and via remote)Heavy duty black hexagonal cargo cover (aftermarket--$150)Custom roll-up Sun Shade The current tires are at about 75-80%---just put them on about 4-5000 miles ago. I have already purchased 4 almost-new take-offs as well that will come with the car----thats an extra $1500 savings right there. Car has never been wrecked, has a clean Carfax (I have copy on hand). Payoff on car is at local lender for $19k. Kelly Blue Book Private Party value is between $42,000 (fair condition) & $48,000 (excellent condition), and that is without including the $6k extra in warranty & tires I'm including. It is a used car, so there are a couple of imperfections:1. A small door ding (smaller than a dime) on the passenger side. Probably $50-100 to fix at the dealership. There are 2 pen-tip size paint fleks on the driver's side & another 1/8" on the passenger side. These could be buffed out.2. On the rear hatch there is a small surface scrape on the paint about 1/3" long, about the width of a ball-point pen tip. It doesn't go all the way down to the metal, and is on the very edge of the door. It was there when I bought it.3. There is a 2" cut in the arm rest of the 3rd row seat bolster. Dealership can replace for $200. As I never use the 3rd row seats I didn't bother.4. There are faint marks on fabric on the rear pillars by the rear door from rubbing of bike tires against the door frame. I believe they will come out with a shampooing, but as I haven't professionally detailed the car in some time I can't be sure. 90% of the time my bike was carried on the roof, but it occasionally rode inside, hence the marks.5. There are slight indentations on the rear seats from child car seats. I use waterproof pads b/t the car seats & the seating surface, but there are still a couple of small indents.6. There are a couple of superficial surface scratches on the top of the rear spoiler from loading surf board/cargo carrier onto the rack. You can't see them unless you are on a ladder, but they are there. Could easily be buffed out if need be. Warranty work in the past year has included replacing the front air suspension, 1 CV joint or tie rod (or something like that), & most of the interior walnut burl door trim pieces. As mentioned, front brakes were just done. I have all the service records since fall 2010 from the dealership (Rusnak Arcadia MBZ). I've bought & sold numerous vehicles over the net before, so happy to assist with shipping if need be. I still use this vehicle 2-3x per week so mileage is going to be above 50,500 but not by much. Happy to answer any questions, but I'm certainly not desperate to sell so don't waste your or my time with lowball offers. Given the price of fuel, the 3 year/75k factory warranty, the condition of the vehicle, the fact that new ones cost $80k++, my price is extremely fair & this is quite simply the best SUV on the market today.
