Incredible Example of a Ferrari 308.Complete Engine Rebuild just completed within the last 6 months. Engine Rebuild included all new pistons and rings, valve guides, resurface heads, resurface flywheel, and all new seals, belts, gaskets, bearings, plug wires etc. In addition, rebuilt carburetors, rebuilt waterpump and new clutch. Work done by respected independent Ferrari service in Los Angeles. The car has approximately 2500 miles since rebuild. Car is perfectly sorted and set up and runs to redline smoothly. Does not leak one drop of oil. Suspension rebuild with new Koni OEM shocks, front and rear suspension bushings, ball joints etc. Also, new brake pads front and rear. This was completed 4 months and less than 500 miles ago. Car feels tight and tracks straight.Other newly restored items include the following: Newly re-upholstered dash; new and unblemished interior switch-gear console; new Superperformance correct replica Steering Wheel (Rare, original MOMO steering wheel in very good shape, also included); new tail light lenses; new gear reduction starter; and Hill Engineering Aluminum pedal set, including dead pedal. The car comes with the following desirable aftermarket items: Tubi exhaust; Ceramic coated headers; HyperFlow Catalytc Converters; and Superperformance 16” replica wheels. These wheels are in absolutely perfect condition with no road rash or other blemishes as are the center-caps (the original 14” rims with tires, including spare, are included with the car). The tires are Bridgestone Pole Position 245/45 rear, 225/50 front and are in fantastic shape with about 5000 miles on them and very little tread wear. Interior is in great shape. The seats are not in the original pattern for the year (updated by previous owner) but are on the original frames and they don't look out of place. The black leather is well preserved and in great shape. No rips or tears of any kind and with only slight fading on the driver’s bolster. The rest of the interior is also in fabulous condition. Black carpets are original and in pristine shape, including the original carpet savers. No tears, no fraying and no worn sections. Car also comes with aftermarket floor mats in good condition. All gauges work properly. All instruments work properly. All electrics work properly. AC works properly. The original fuse blocks are in great shape but I have unused Birdman Fuse Blocks that I will include with the car. The car does not drain the charge and has never left me stranded. Sound system is updated but is discrete and tasteful with Alpine CDe 9881, which includes MP3 connectivity. It fits the dash perfectly and looks and sounds great. The body is in very good condition. The paint looks fantastic with only a few nicks and scratches that are only noticeable upon close inspection. The car has some rust bubbles. These are primarily on the lower portion of the driver’s door. These rust bubbles have been there, apparently unchanged, since I purchased the car approximately 10 years ago. They do not detract from the car’s overall appearance. The chrome and other trim pieces are in great shape and are scratch-free. Both the windshield and back window are original and scratch-free. The front bumper is perfect and the back bumper, while slightly faded, is blemish-free. Comes with Owners Manual and other dealership literature bound in original and rare Ferrari Wallet. Also comes with Ferrari Heritage Certificate showing date of Manufacture of July 4, 1979 and with original colors of Grigio with Black interior. Also includes original spare, jack and tool kit. I have service records going back to 2002 showing a fastidious maintenance regime. Car passes California Smog and is currently registered in California. Pre-purchase inspection is welcome. An absolutely fantastic example of the 308 that mechanically and cosmetically is virtually showroom fresh.
