1979 Chrysler

This is a Chrysler-26 sailboat. I am selling it because I have purchased a larger, 28 footer. I owned a Chrysler 22 before this and they are one heavy duty boat! I have included as many pictures as possible to accurately represent this boat. All of the running rigging is new. It has a new, never used stove, a newly installed Dometic port-a-potty which has new hoses run to a pump-out access on the deck. I rebuilt the rudder a year ago as you can see in the pictures and the tiller is new. The interior was stripped and sanded and new carpet was installed. All seat covers have new material. Some of the material has come down in the v-berth on the ceiling and needs new adhesive to be applied. A brand new coat of bottom paint was just put on. The sails include a main, jib, 150 genoa. All interior cabin lights were replaced. This has a 25 horse Mariner engine with internal controls. The engine was purchase as a new rebuild and has no more than 10 hours on it. It has two batteries and a recharger with shore power connections and cable. It is wired for 110 inside. There is a brand new West Marine radio installed. The swing keel functions well and the cable is in excellent shape. This comes with a trailer which was originally a power boat trailer and was modified to include slings. The anchor is custom made and can hold fast a boat significantly larger than this with > 200' of rode in the forward hold. They don't show up in the pictures but there are scrapes along the hull, all of which are superficial. She was in the water last year so this is not a boat that has been sitting around on the hard. It also comes with a large assortment of dock lines, fenders, extendable docking hook, first aid kit, flares, bilge pump, and cockpit seat cushions. The boat is currently located in Muskegon, Mi.
