Up for auction is a 1975 Ford F-250 4X4 pickup truck that was used as a brush truck by our fire department, Polk Fire-Rescue, Inc. located in Polk, PA. I am the fire chief of this department, and am listing the truck for the fire department. This truck has been stored indoors it's entire life, has only 13,034 original miles, and is in very solid condition considering it's age. This truck is equipped with a 360 V8 engine that starts and runs very well, and a 4 speed manual transmission. The truck runs and drives very good. The truck comes exactly as pictured, including the emergency lights and siren. It is the buyers responsibility to remove these items if not authorized to use them. The truck has a P.T.O. that drives a water pump that is still installed, and works to the best of our knowledge, there is not a water tank included. In addition to the pump, we also have a pto driven winch that was originally installed on this truck that will be included. The winch was removed several years ago and has been stored outside, so it's condition is unknown. The PA state inspection will be renewed on this truck before the auction ends! The bed has been repaired a little above the wheel wells, and the paint doesn't match perfectly. Also, it has been repainted below the fuel filler and doesn't match perfectly. There are several paint chips and scratches over the truck, but the body is in overall good condition. The interior is in good condition as well, the seat is starting to tear a little on the drivers side. The undercarriage is in excellent condition, with only light surface rust. It will be hard to find a frame in this nice of shape in the northern states. The off-road tires are size 33X12.5X16.5, 8ply and are in very good condition. The truck does leak some oil. Also, as can be seen in the pictures, the bed has been pretty heavily modified for fire fighting equipment. On the sides of the bed are heavy aluminum diamond plate boxes that work great for storing longer tools. The front spotlights by the doors do not work. The brush truck was originally completed by Hamerly Custom Productions Inc. in Hamburg, PA. This truck would make a great pulling truck, fire truck, show piece, or general use pickup!
