Up for bid is a 1930 Blind Back Briggs 170B Deluxe RARE car. It has 12, 854 milesand all the trim is there. It was restored some time in the 70's. The lst owner purchased it in 1980 but didn't drive it much. He bought a 29 Roadster and quit driving the sedan.It had old tires and apple green wheels which i didn't think looked right, so I had four powder coated wheels and four Goodyear tires that I put on. On a scale of 1-10 the tires are 51/2 and the upholstery is 6. Brakes are new and work well. Engine runs very well for a car that sat for 32 years. The gas tank is very clean and has new gas line under the tank. New sediment bowl, rebulit carb, replaced intake ext manifold, head, water pump, fan belt, gen, radiator, oil, tail light(left side), repaired right one, new stop light switch, repaired park lights and seals in hubs. Repaired cowl lights, new wiring harness, new socket's in head lights, didn't have horn. I also put kit in fuel tank gas gauge. I did a lot of work to this car I work on Model A's year round, it's my thing. I love the old cars, This car is a canidate for Restoration. On Jun-02-12 at 15:38:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I made an error on the description, there were only 12,854 of this model made. That's what makes it so rare. On Jun-04-12 at 05:50:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I inadvertently forgot to note that the fenders are fiberglass. I do have a pair of front steel fenders that I would let go with the car. They are not weld fenders. Any bidder may at this point retract their bid as I did not intend to mislead with my description. My wife entered my listing and I failed to indicate to her regarding the fenders.
