This car was running GREAT up until Tuesday of this week. I allowed it to be used on a road trip and the oil was not checked by the drivers. Unfortunately, there must have been a slow oil leak because when they hit the highway to return to NY - the car died...the engine ceased due to no oil. The car turns on but the engine is knocking and I was told it would be expensive to fix. I just replaced the transmission, the ignition system, front bumper and had a tune up done on it last year. Needless to say - I am so upset after I had so much done to the car and if I had more money to invest in this car I would but I can't do it so I am listing it in the hopes that someone with the knowledge and expertise will want this car for parts or to rebuild it themselves. It has a great stereo system and the AC and everything work. The car is currently parked at a house in Budd Lake, NJ and that is where it will need to be picked up from and towed by whoever buys it. As you will see from the pictures - the car is in really good shape for a 2000 - not perfect as there are a few blemishes and minor dents and scratches...but it would be a great first car for someone if their parents can get the engine done.
