Hi, I'm selling my beloved, one of a kind, 2000 Honda Civic CX 3DR Hatchback with an unbelievable 26,000 original miles! That's an average of only 2,100 miles per year over a 12 year period. This is truly a MUST see and RARE find. I can almost guarantee, you will never find another one like this one. If you know Honda history, you know these hatchbacks are extremely hard to find and were made in limited quantity. The year 2000 was the last year this particular body style hatchback was made. This is a 12 year old car but everything is in LIKE NEW factory condition. Here's a few more details: Brief History: It was owned by my wife's grandfather, who purchased the car new in 1999 at Gillman-Rosenburg Honda in Houston, Texas. It was used as a second car to commute to work and back occasionally, which was only 3 miles away. It was always driven very safe and careful and never over the speed limit. It's in absolutely excellent condition inside and out. Interior: The inside of the car looks like it did the day it left the lot. From the headliner to the the carpet on the floor, not one noticeable stain! The only upgrade on this car was darker window tint for the hot summers and a Pioneer Aux/iPod CD stereo for better entertainment. The dash and all panels still have that new shine, with no cracks of any kind. The car also comes with the original floor mats that are also in great condition. Exterior: The exterior is in excellent condition, with the exception of minor scratches and door dings here and there from normal use. There are scratches on the back bumper and a small dent on the passenger rear bottom panel as shown in the pictures. nothing major. The paint is the original factory paint and still shines beautifully . The car has been garage kept its entire life, and it shows! All the glass is chip free and the headlights look brand new. The headlight bulbs were replaced and upgraded to Sylvania Ultra for better vision at night and the license plate bulbs were replaced with a brighter LED bulbs. The tires are also in great condition and have lots of rubber left. Mechanical: The engine is in top mechanical shape and you wont believe your eyes when you look under the hood. Everything in the engine compartment looks so nice, you might mistake it for a new engine! All the fluids are fresh and have been changed accordingly. The engine is nice and quite and purrs like a kitten. The transmission is in great shape and shifts smoothly. Everything works properly including air conditioning and heater, all signal lights, headlights, wipers, etc. Highlighted Maintenance include: 24,577 mi.- Basic tune-up including spark plug and NGK wire set and new battery installed. 24,860 mi.- Replaced A/C compressor, dryer, and recharged system. 25,000 mi.- Tires rotated and balanced. 25,039 mi.- Timing belt, water pump, and all drive belts replaced. (3-3-2012) The car has 26,883 miles as of today. (5-23-2012) My car has NEVER been in any accident or collision and comes with a clean and clear title and CARFAX history report. It's NEVER been abused, tampered with, or neglected in any way. Overall, this is a very reliable, safe, and fun vehicle for anyone, and to some, may even be considered a collectors item. I must mention, the car is being driven daily by my mother to work and back, so mileage will go up, but not much since Its only being driven about 10-15 miles per day. Also, I upgraded the side door speakers a while back and recently the driver side speaker quit working. I took it out and just never got around to replacing it.
