I purchased the car several years ago and it needed a bit of work. I installed new tires, shocks, springs, brake power master and had the motor professionally rebuilt. Here is what they did.The engine is bored over .040The pistons are forged Keith blackThe rings are moly plasma total sealsThe crankshaft was turned .010 on the rods and .020 on the mains, the crankshaft was balancedThe gaskets are all fel pro high performance gasketsThe timing cover was a new old stock factory g.m cover, the aftermarket ones would not work to to oil pump clearance issuesIt has a millings high pressure high volume oil pump in the coverThe timing chain is a true dual roller high performance setThe motor uses a comp cams high performance camshaft with hi rev hydraulic lifters, with high performance elliptical valve springs and steel retainers, cam specs are;260 duration intake and exhaust with a .479 lift intake and exhaust. It is their high energy street max camshaft designed to be used with an upgraded turbo and computer tuning.The engine block was bored over .040, it was zero decked, torque plate honed, line bored, lifter bores were trued up and align honed, the complete engine rotating assembly was internally balanced, the connecting rods were shot peened, polished, blue printed and reconditionedCylinder heads have a three angle valve job done to them, all the valve guides were replaced with bronze guides, posi lock valve seals were installed on the valves, heads were machines to accept these seals, both heads were surfaced .017 to raise the compression up, all new frost installed in the block, new camshaft barings were installed, the block was hot tanked, baked and bead blasted.The turbo is a ta49 precision unit with an upgrade adjustable actuator from 12 to 22 psi of boost.A upgraded trans mount and new upgraded engine mounts were installedThe flywheel is a new ati neutral balanced unitThe starter was replaced with a high torque g.m unitThe electric fuel pump in the gas tank was replaced with a high output g.m. type pump with a new high volume strainer and pulsator.The radiator was replaced with a high efficiency 3 core unit, lifetime warrantyWe installed hooker headers, 2 inch primary tubesThe turbo down pipe is a 3 inch custom hooker exhaust partThe cold air intake is a gn power masters partThe gas filter was replaced.The ecm was custom tuned in house on our chassis dyno.There is also a shift improver kit installed. This all totaled over $11,000, I have over $15,000 in the car already, The interior needs a little bit of work, power locks work occasionally, seats are worn.
