I purchased this car 9 years ago with the intention of building a pro-street car. Since I have owned it, I have kept it inside. I've had the car running for 3 different summers. It runs, but the transmission doesn't work well. The engine is a 1985 318 with a Edelbrock 1406 4bbl, and has electronic ignition. It is tired but seems to run OK, but it has been sitting for most of 9 years. The interior has seat covers that I've never removed. Mechanically, the seats are OK, but the interior needs updated. The dash has been hacked for a different radio, but the gages work. The dashpad is badly cracked, but I have a recoverable donor to go with it. Everything else is there in the interior. The K-member is damaged, but I have another to go with it. It has drum brakes all around and they grab. The inside of the fenders where they bolt to the inner fenderwells, have rust holes in them from sitting outside before I got it. There is a rust hole in the frame just below the engine compartment, probably due to sitting on the ground, also before I got it. It's not very bad and can be repaired. This is not rusty all around as if it were from Minnesota or the East coast, most of the rust is typical for the year. The floors and trunk are OK from what I can see. It will need new rear quarter patch panels and front fender patch panels, again, typical. All the glass is in good shape and the windows roll up and down. The grille is broken in a couple places, but I have other inserts for parts. The back tail panel on the trunk is plain and has some dents. It needs marker lights. The hood is real good and is flat. The flat hoods, in good condition, are very hard to find. The lower front valance is bent pretty bad, but I have another one that is in great shape to go with it.Tires and wheels are good. Remember, this was bought for modification, not a restoration. This is restoreable, but for more work.
