Up for sale is my 1969 Pontiac GTO project car. This is a very solid New Mexico car with all the body work done. The only repair done to the body was a patch panel for the rt rear top of wheel opening, only because previous owner had cut some of the wheel lip off for tire clearance. It does not have the original motor or transmission, but does have a 1969 YS motor rebuilt to factory specs and a rebuilt turbo 400 transmission.Car is nicely optioned with things like power brakes, automatic, power windows, power antenna and air conditioning. The only repair needed to floor pan is a 1" gash and small dents in left rear floor pan, which could be welded up very easily.. Work already done includes removing body from frame, sandblasting frame and painting with etching primer and correct black paint. New body mounts and suspension bushings were replaced. Front and rear brakes were rebuilt with new pads, shoes and hardware.Shocks replaced with new Delco units. New gas tank, filler tube and straps installed. 400 engine rebuilt completely by local machine shop to stock specs and hardened valve seats installed. Turbo 400 trans rebuilt and installed with new torque convertor. Starter, power steering, and alternator installed on engine. New heater core and evaporator core installed in housing. New parts bought but not yet installed include lock set, engine and dash harnesses, and rear spoiler. I have many of the small parts needed to finish, but they are used and will need to be cleaned up. Some of the larger parts still needed include complete interior kit with carpeting and headliner, rear bumper and taillight lenses, front door power window regulators with motors, left frt window glass, taillight harness, radiator and a/c condensor, a/c compressor, accumulator and hoses and windshield. This car was originally Limelight Green with Dark Green interior, but at this point you could finish it in any colors you choose. If you are looking for a solid GTO to finish the way you want, I don't think you will find a more solid car than this one anywhere. I have the PHS documentation and clear title.
