1999 Porsche Carrera 911 / 996 I just had the motor rebuilt by a Certified Porsche Mechanic. This is the Original Motor that was built with the Porsche in 1998/1999. This is not a motor replacement or a motor swap. This vehicle has never been in an accident! The original motor had a cylinder that had low compression so I had the motor rebuilt to factory specs prior to it causing more damage to the motor and other parts. I have invested over $15K in the vehicle regarding the rebuilt motor plus new Porsche parts and labor. The tires (Yokohama) and rims (Iforged Performance Alloys - Custom Powder Coated) are worth $6K alone. LIMITED MOTOR WARRANTY - 6 MONTHS OR 6,000 MILES, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST 6 months or 6000 miles (motor and other parts installed by mechanic) Try finding any used Porsche with a Rebuilt Motor and a Warranty with anyone on eBay or any other dealer; it will be a slim chance to none. This is the original motor that was built with the vehicle. The motor was completely rebuilt (not replaced or swapped) with many new parts that I decided to replace at the time of it being rebuilt. I spared no expense (over $15k in motor, new parts and labor). It even passed smog on the first try and it is currently registered! This is most likely the only Porsche on eBay Motors with a rebuilt motor and a Motor Warranty, plus many new items, see below list. The complete invoice will be provided to the buyer after the sale. The first owner sold the vehicle to my friends company who informed them that he never smoked. The Motor, Parts and Labor Warranty is applied by the mechanic shop that did the work, not by the seller. LIMITED MOTOR WARRANTY - 6 MONTHS OR 6,000 MILES, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST There is a warranty on the motor, parts and labor that have just been replaced with the mechanic but not by the seller. I will not be personally liable or responsible for any warranty or non-warranty issues regarding any mechanical problems, if any, after shipping, delivery or pick up of the vehicle. You have the option to buy a aftermarket warranty on the vehicle, if one is available. This purchase does not provide any aftermarket warranty on the vehicle except for the mechanic's limited motor, parts and labor warranty discussed above. NOTE TO BIDDERS or the BUYER The last bidder did not pay and backed out of the deal due to buyer’s remorse and health reasons, which is not acceptable to me.
