This is a 1955 Pontiac Starcheif convertible that needs to be restored.It is an original convertible and has it has a clear title.It´s a western car so the body and frame is structurally solid although there is rust in the floorboards but not bad.Doors open and close fine, the trunk only has a couple dime size holes and the convertible top frame has no rust at all.This Pontiac was driven 10 years ago from Texas to California and parked since.The engine and transmission appears to be the original 287 V8 and it turn over and want´s to start when gas is put down the carb.There are e few things missing: the glovebox door, the latches for the top (same as Chevy so Danchuk has them), a couple of window cranks, the hubcaps, and the trim for the front seat.Other than that, the car is complete as far as I can tell.All the hard to get convertible parts are good.Restorable real convertibles from the 50´s has been hard to find for years, here´s one that should be done.I will help with shipping anywhere and will answer any questions you may have about it.Please do not bid unless you plan to buy.I have a clear title in my name.
