Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a fine example, a 1989 BMW 325ic Convertible E30 Chassis, with full documentation and receipts for all work. I am the second owner in 23 years and an avid BMW enthusiast. When I purchased this car, it was old lady owned and garage kept but needed some work to bring it to the condition it is in today - immaculate. I completed a full mechanical overhaul and addressed every single cosmetic flaw. Simply a turn-key classic! This car is an extremely fun and nostalgic throwback to the car that made the 3-Series BMW what it is today. Some regard the E30 as the finest drivers car BMW ever made. M3 versions in similar condition bring mid-$30's on the market. I turn more heads cruising in this car than I do in my E39 M5 or my 350Z. Honestly! I'm constantly getting "Wow, what year is that??" Now the details: Everything-working BMW E30. Every single switch, button or dial works. Good luck finding that anywhere else with a BMW of this age, let alone a BMW 10 years newer! You literally have NOTHING to do, just hop in and drive. It has NEVER broken down on me or left me stranded in the 3+ years of ownership -- due to all the preventative maintenance I have accomplished. All services performed within a year: Fluids - Every fluid changed. Engine oil every 3000 miles. Transmission and Differential changed to Redline synthetic gear oils. Brakes bled and flushed. ONLY BMW Blue used for coolant. Sound upgraded to Alpine head unit with XM capabilities. All four speakers changed to Kenwood KF-C models. Aux Input cable installed (iPod, Zune, iPhone, Android etc.) Headlamps converted to HIDs (For safety reasons, all else kept origional/stock) Recent valve adjustment (as seen in pictures) Timing belt changed at 113,000 miles. Water pump and thermostat/thermostat housing replaced, coolant flushed and replaced with BMW blue anti-electrolysis fluid. Brand new German "Dobby Weave" convertible top installed. Tension straps replaced. This is the closest material in match and finish to the origional OEM BMW material (if it were still available today) Brand new set of BF-Goodrich tires (all four), refinished set of 325is wheels, Full sized spare included. Recent Alignment performed. Car tracks 100% straight. Brand new Clutch, Pressure Plate and Refinished single-mass Flywheel. Less than 1000 miles on the new clutch! Brand new synthetic transmission fluid also less than 1000 miles old. Brand new Clutch Slave and Clutch Master Cylinder (see photos). Brand new front suspension components (control arms, thrust bushings, tie rods, etc) Air Conditioning blows cold! You're ready for the summer with this ride. New door seals, windshield and frame-to-top seal replaced. Brand new OEM BMW ZHP weighted shift knob. Brand new OEM BMW leather (not leather-ette/fake leather) shift boot. Looks great with the E30 M3 leather heated seats!! Every single above item mentioned is backed up by reciept/work order. Complete maintenance log available. No underbody/panel rust, no leaks, no excuses. This car is 100%. Look no further, seriously. This is the one! You may remember that this car sold on eBay last week. However, the buyer didn't seem to understand that when you win an auction and outbid other members, you actually have to pay for the car. He never even bothered to return a single correspondance after the sale, and didn't even meet to look at the car (eBay id: lorencecorp - see info for verification of this by the ebay strike on his account). Please, serious bidders only - no clowns. I do expect payment within the 4 days provided by ebay, however if any other circumstances exist, simply e-mail or call me and I will be happy to accomodate the sale. This car is sold as-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Good luck bidding! Feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will be glad to promptly reply.
