2001 Dodge B3500 extended 15 pass Van ( Ram Wagon ) 5.2L CNG fueled 43k orig miles - 4 tanks – 4 bench seats Tank exp date 2015 or 2016 This is probably one of the nicest vans (for it’s vintage) that you will find; both functionally & cosmetically - inside and out. Vehicle passed Va. State Insp within last 30 days – no issues. Vehicle starts and runs as it should. Drove it for 100 miles or so .. Engine & transmission performance remarkably smooth. I did notice a slight vibration past 60 mph that was not engine or rpm or transmission related .. didn’t appear to be coming from the steering either – the steering wheel wasn’t doing any twitching or jerking and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a tire issue either. ( This van has GR8 tires on it. More on that later)). MY sense is that there is a loose plate ( perhaps a cover plate over the cng tanks or maybe a loose muffler bracket that’s vibrating at high speed. Pretty sure it isn’t motor or transmission or suspension related. The thing drives pretty nice and smooth .. good riding van and as soft and comfortable ride for the folks in the back as you could hope for. ( Pretty sure it’s not the tires cause I just had em balanced to make sure. Also had them do an oil change while they did the safety inspection ( last week). Brakes functioning quiet and perfectly as well. Plenty of meat left on the front brakes. Didn’t check the rears. Van has 4 wheel anti-lock breaks. Wipers – all systems go here; variable delay and fixed speed settings all functioning properly. No leaks of any kind. Gauges all working and vitals are all well and good. ( oil pressure & temp & alt all working as they should, and showing all the right indications that the systems they are reporting on all seem to be functioning properly – ie, it isn’t running hot at idle or in traffic, is running a bit cooler on the hwy; pressure gage reporting back the expected variances re cold engine/warmed up/higher rpm, etc. ). Power windows, power doorlocks, cruise control, interior lights, headlights, brake lights and directional signals all working. ( Note: the power doorlock button on pass side is missing. Window switch on pass side working fine. Doorlock button on drivers side is present and works ALL the door locks in the vehicle like it’s supposed to. Stereo cassette deck w wireless remote. (Stereo works, cant vouch for the remote; it probably just needs a new battery. ( The other possibility is the remote doesn’t even GO with this van and someone accidentally left it in there. One of life’s mysteries waiting to be solved. ) Exterior – Overall, pretty good shape. 9+ on the 10 scale. Bumpers – Very very nice shape. I hesitate to use the word PERFECT, but look at the pictures and see for yourself. The front grill looks gr8 also. And it fits nice and tight like it’s supposed to; no rattling around. Body - No major dents or rust. Tiny tiny spot of rust at the bottom tip of drivers door that may actually just come right off with a little bit of cleaner and a scouring pad (see pic 3 ) and 2 minor dimples that every one of these seems to have. ( 1 dimple rear drvrs side, 1 dimple front pass side. (see pic 4&5 for front | 6&7 for rear). The front one looks like it’d just push right back out into position with the palm of a hand. Both very minor and hardly worth mentioning, but going for full disclosure here). Other than that, van did have/has some decals, and a few nicks or scuffs here or there, but a good detail should clear up most of that ..… as you can see from the pictures, this is probably one or the nicest vans (for it’s vintage) that you will find; both inside and out. The glass is all in pretty darn good shape. No nicks or cracks in the windshield AT ALL, near as I could tell. The wrap around windows are all perfect as well. They are dark tinted. (very dark). Interior – Pretty good shape overall. Could use a good cleaning. The floor especially. Seats - 1 tear in driver’s seat ( see pic xx ) which seems common in driver side van seats of just about every make and model ). There are a couple of easily fixable tears on a couple of the rear pass benches only along the path or aisle along the outside of the benches ( see pix xx ). ( Damage to the vinyl portion of the seat trim. Other than that, all 4 benches in very nice condition; black or dark charcoal color, something of a velour material, kinda plush, rather comfortable, definitely nicer than the vinyl ones. Way nicer. Way WAY nicer. Headliner – excellent. ( missing one of the plastic vents in the very rear .. it actually may still be there and just pushed in. Otherwise, no sagging, no rips or tears, no water stains. ( see pic) Tires – Excellent ( all new/newer tires w excellent tread & cosmetics - est 90% tread remaining ((1 Firestone & 3 Nexen matching – all rated for 3200lbs load capacity size 245/75/16. ( 1 spare tire included, tire only, no wheel for it though ..) Spare tire jack is present and appears to have never been disturbed) Undercarriage – Surpisingly little rust for 11 year old van. Engine compartment pretty clean also. Tried to include a few pix- email me for more pix if they don’t all make it through the upload process. Van is located in Baltimore near the airport. Selling with a full tank of fuel. ( Fresh oil change just done last week also). Am willing to assist buyer with shipping or delivery if necessary. $500 deposit via Paypal due within 24hrs of auction close. Deposit is Non-Refundable. Balance of transaction due within 7 days or upon taking delivery, whichever is sooner. Balance to be paid via certified funds or cash within 7 days of auction close. Wire transfer is acceptable under some circumstances. If you cannot take delivery of the vehicle within 7 days of auction close, or do not/ cannot ship the vehicle within 7 days, Storage/parking fees of $33 p/week will begin to accrue one week after auction close. You do not need to pick-up the van within 7 days; you can take as long as you need to come get it ( with in reason, of course ) just understand that I expect to be reimbursed for addl parking fees of $33.00 p/week that it’s costing me for parking/storage. ( 1st week after the auction closes is on me, any parking/storage fees thereafter I would like to reimbursed for. Sounds fair, right ?) I am willing to meet or p/u buyer at Baltimore Airport or nearby airport hotel if you’re coming from out of state; you wouldn’t even need to rent a car. You can just get in the van and go if you like. She’s got half a tank in her and the nearest cng station is about 10 miles away ( something like $1.90 a gal.) – meaning you could be back in NY or Penn in time for dinner. ( We can go over to the cng station together and I’ll show you how to fill a cng vehicle if you don’t already know, or I will have it all gassed up and ready to go for you on your arrival, whichever you prefer.
