This is a great almost original 1967 Ford Mustang GT, Fastback, S code It is a 390 engine which I have spent over 7,000, and would consider it now like a 428 cobrajet engine, with headers. It has a 4 speed top loader. Both believed to be original, but not positive. The engine has had a total, total rebuilt, with all high performance parts, no expense spared. The interior is black with no rips and is in great condition. It is complete, with the fold down rear seat, all GT equipment appointments. The exterior is original and rust free. There is a fold on the bottom of both front fenders which have caused some minor surface rust, nothing major. It may be the original paint with a black stripe down the center. Would need a paint job. The undercarriage is in great shape with no issues whatsoever. The hood is not on. I have the original hood and another one, both GT signal light hoods. The spare hood should be cut to accept the high intake manifold and carburetor. It has the GT rims, which would have to be cleaned up. Needs tires, of course. The exhaust is not hooked up. The car starts right up. It still needs some work, paint, hood to be put on, exhaust, some wiring underneath. But I am not asking over 50,000 like most that I have seen here on ebay. This doesn't include the engine, transmission, or anything else. Also, you do not get a vin, and a title. My car is for the most part, all original, and rust free. It started from the factory as a S code, and a factory GT, the vin numbers are stamped on the inner fender aprons. I have a clear Florida title. The car is complete, so you do not have to go looking for parts. The car starts right up, and just needs very minor work. I am looking at buying a property, and this is the only reason that I am considering selling the car. My reserve is reasonable, in that you will not be able to have all what this car has for the price that I am asking, and you definitely will not get a car as rust free as this for the price. I want to sell the car, but I am not giving it away. This is perfect for the individual that wants to drive and enjoy the car, probably not for those out there looking at buying it to flip it again. On May-04-12 at 16:12:20 PDT, seller added the following information: The engine has been heavily modified and runs very strong there was a list of work done to the internals I am trying to find the list but off the top of my head it has a full msd ignition offenhauser intake roller rockers bo-laws spacer Holly 130 gph mechanical fuel pump demon 800 cfm carburetor Hooker headers I think a 750 lift lutani cam 428 police interceptor heads It has about 3 hours of run time on it Like I said this engine is no joke it runs like a street/drag car you will not be disappointed
