1971 Ford Cougar Convertible. This car sat in a basement for years and was sent to junk yard where i bought it. This is a Salvage Title Car, otherwise title is good and current on registration. This car does not require California smog inspection. And runs great. Convertible power top works properly.... up and down and lines up correctly. Glass is in good condition. Doors close right. Lights and turn signals work properly. 351 Clev. motor, power steering, power brakes, A/C (disconnected). Runs, drives, brakes work great. Good tires. Body: Some surface rust, no dents. Did note one rust thru spot in the trunk (driver side) and a smaller hole in the back seat floor area passenger side. NO rust on body of car. Bumpers will need to be replaced or re-chromed. Very solid for a convertible car. Interior, will need to be recovered. needs rugs. needs new canvas top. and some misc pieces here and there... like glove box door, etc. This car has bucket seats and center console.
