Just in time for summer outings. I built this resto rod about 13 years ago. It has just under 8000 miles on it from the completion. I don't call this a show truck altough it does draw a croud at the local car shows. It is a fun truck to drive and has been very reliable. YOu will have the only one at just about any outing you go to. I would put the condition as a #3 driver. It has good performance. Here are the details. It is all stock outside. the frame is mostly stock with the I beam front axle. It is running a completely rebuilt Chevy 327 Corvette engine with a munci 4 speed manual trans with Hurst shifter. The engine and trans were gone through completely. New pistons .030 over bore, hard seats in the heads, New cam lifters, crank reground, 64 CC heads with .194 intake valves. It is pushing around 300 HP. It was not built for a race car but a fun driver. The truck has been completely re done, new wiring, very nice interior. I love this thing but have to make room for my next project. I incourage coming to look at it before you bid. I am retired and can be here just about any time. The truck runs great on No Lead Premium pump gas. The rear end and rear leaf springs have been up graded. I have the truck stored in my garage. I live near Port Huron Michigan (about 45 minutes north of Detroit) I will require a 500 dollar non refundable deposit. I will not do bank transfers or wire transfers, I will not forward any excess funds (I have heard that one already). The truck is completely rewired with modern wiring and fuse panel. A wiring diagram will be supplied. The truck has a GM one wire alternator on it. It also has two tail lights and tyrn signals. I just found a problem with the gas tank gage sender and will replace the gage and sender this week.
