They call it the gentleman’s muscle car. I am looking to sell my 1963 Catalina Convertible white on white with maroon interior 389 V8 AUTO PS PB. Mileage on the car is 49543. I just don't have enough time to devote to the car as I recently had a child and I am busy obtaining my MBA. Plus I have another project that I haven’t completed yet (GTO). The original owners passed away as the car sat for several years. I bought the car 6 years ago and replaced several things listed below. The car is all original as I have all the PHS documents that came with the car as well as the receipts. I haven’t had any issues with the car as it’s been a great daily driver. Car looks good from 3ft away and has a shine but it will need a repaint eventually. There are a few spots that need body work such as passenger side quarter panel, and small spot on driver fender and trunk lid. The car isn’t a rust bucket as I would never endanger my family riding around in such a car. It’s the perfect car for someone to start into the classic car hobby on the cheap. You can drive the car to car shows while restoring it to its full potential and glory. The car floats down the road as it gets a lot of looks. I would like to sell the car to someone that will keep the car and the Pontiac brand alive. I have several new parts such as replacement dash (better chrome), moldings, lights, side vent/glass, new glove box and trunk mat. I was going to put them on after I had the car repainted however I haven’t gotten around to doing such. The chrome on the car looks good as a few pieces has some very light pitting. The glass on the car is in really good shape-no cracks or chips. The interior and carpet is in good shape as the front seat has two tears in it but looks good for a daily driver. Original radio still works in it although it has an additional CD player radio in it that works as well. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if car sells. I have tried to represent the car fairly and honestly. Inspections are welcome before bidding. International buyers are welcomed, but shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist in loading the car, or work with your shipper. $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction close and full payment within 7 days by certified bank check or wire. THINGS THE CAR NEEDS REPLACED: I have heater box-just needs to be installed Wiper motor- (I think as wipers don’t work however never driven in the rain) Convertible Top Motor is temperamental-Top looks good when clean and doesn't have any rips but top and padding will need to be replaced if you plan to show and go but great for daily driver.
