This is a car we acquired for restoration several years ago. It is a complete car with a good original interior showing 24,654 miles although we cannot verify that the mileage is correct. We did a complete overhaul of the 401 CI Buick Nailhead engine as we began the restoration and this car is in good mechanical shape. We were ready to complete the restoration but then we found an original low mileage Wildcat convertible and acquired it in lieu of restoring this one. This car will require work on the floors and rockers to make it a 100 point car. We have a solid 1963 Buick LeSabre that could be available as a donor car for the project. It will also need a new top but the top bows and mechanism are intact and operate properly. What makes this car such a good acquisition is the fact that all the stainless, chrome and trim are with it and in good condition. Also, with the exception of the armrests the interior is in very good shape and could be used in the restored car. There are no cracks in the dash and all the seats are in good shape. The console is complete and the tach works perfectly. These 1963 Wildcat convertibles are escalating in value and this triple black beauty could be an exceptional investment.
