Extremely rare 1969 Fiat 124 Coupe. 124AC 0072230. This Fiat is an excellent restoration candidate. I have owned 4 Coupes over the years, and this one is the most rust free of them. The only serious rust I have found is some bubbling at the lower passenger corner of the windshield. There are dents in the roof, passenger rear fender and drivers side front, but no major accident damage has been found. The car was taken off the road 30+ years ago for an electric car conversion. The odometer shows 29,380 miles, though the odometer only has 5 digits. The original 1438cc engine is missing, replaced by an electric motor. The electric motor is bolted up to the stock transmission. The conversion was never finished and no major alteration to the car was done with the work that was completed. The gas tank is removed, but included, and there is a generator bolted to the trunk floor in its place. My plan was to remove the conversion parts and install a 1608cc Fiat engine. The car is otherwise complete, include the gas tank, all exterior trim, bumpers, headlight buckets and retainers, tail lights, badges, grill, etc. The only missing part that I know of is the drivers front turn signal base. New front turn signal lenses are included.
