Up for auction today is My sisters 58 VW Turbodiesel jetta GL with the hard to find tach, and cruz. This car has served My sister very well down through the years, but now she wants a BMW diesel so this car has to go. This car has just had the motor rebuilt from the ground up. It runs and drives very nice. All electrical works great, and has no rust that I can see. The car has been maintained very well down through the years, but just recently the timing belt jumped a tooth do to improper installation, so that is the reason for the rebuild. The motor had a ton of work doen about 20k miles ago, but then sat for 5 years only being driven about 100 miles a year. The interior is in great shape with no cracks in the dash, nice carpet, nice seats, and a new headliner. I will be listing all the good, and new things, plus the bad things, so here it goes. 1. Rebuilt engine. 2. New battery. 3. New cv shafts 20k ago 4. New turbo 20k ago. 5. New baljoints, and tierods 20k ago. 6. Rebuilt injection pump 20k ago. 7. New timing belt, and tensioner 20 miles ago 8. New glow plugs 20 miles ago. 9. New clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel 20k ago. 10. New front brakes 20k ago. 11. New Kenwood cd player with iPod input. 12. New headliner $600.00 minus the sunroof part, because I did not want them to brake it. 13. This car has the hard to find tach. 14. Alloy wheels. 15. New windshield. Now for the bad. 1. Tires are about 50% 2. Paint is ok, but has some scratches, and rock ding in it. No big dents, a few small dings here and there. 3. The car is a 85 so the interior is not perfet and the drivers seat is starting to look old. 4. Some small holes in the back seat, do not know how they got there. 5. Missing one cap off letf rear wheel. 6. Right rear door ashtray keeps falling out. I try to do a honest accounting of all the cars I sale, and this car I feel is described accurately. This is a very nice car, and will give someone many more years of good service. The car has only had two owners from what I know, and neither one had pets in the car, or smoked, so it smells good. The car is a 85 so it is not perfect. This car is sold as is. The car is listed locally so I reserve the right to end auction early. Shipping for this car should be about $1200.00 from here to FL, so anything within 3500 miles should be about that or less. I will also drop the car off at a shipper within 30 miles of Portlend OR.
