1975 Volkswagen Bus Westfalia Poptop Camper for sale. The good: The interior is in great shape; all the pictures were taken for this listing and are recent. The vehicle has been stored indoors since I have owned it (2002). In addition to the pictures, the stool, child’s cot and port a potty are included. All electrical is in working order, interior lights, turn signals, lights, dashboard, cd player. The brakes, transmission and steering are in great shape. The stove works and has been converted to propane. The refrigerator works on DC and AC but does not have a gas supply. Sink works as expected. Why I'm selling: The engine runs, but not well. The rear main seal (rear of the car) has some wobble and appears to need to be replaced. This will have to be investigated before it is turned into a daily driver. I trashed the original engine in 2004 and bought an "as is, my dad put it together engine" for $500 that is installed now. History: This vehicle was bought new by my grandfather in Europe (intended for US). After traveling for about a month he shipped the car, his family, and all his new stuff back to the U.S. The vehicle made its way through the family, eventually to me. I put the car back together to take a vacation to California from Ohio where I blew up the engine in 2004. I towed it home, and since then it has been on maybe 10 camping trips. Thanks for looking.
