JUST REDUCED TO SELL with lower reserve... No more space to store this 1958 Mercedes 190 SL shell with its original front frame rail tag and stamp STILL on the car. She still has her engine mounts and original driveshaft. Has a 190 SL engine with block, crank, camshaft (engine #121921-10-015313) along with several additional engine parts. (SEE VIDEO) Car also comes with air filters, exhaust, driveshaft, extra door and other 190SL pieces (some seen in pictures). The shell was recently stripped of all its prior paint, and resprayed to protect metal. There were many areas that needed welding, with more work still needed. Its a rough project, but the high value of these cars make it worth the asking price..BID TO RESERVE or BUY IT NOW The original "body" portion of the car was removed from its original chassis many years ago except for the front suspension with the vin stamp and tag. THAT is STILL on the car. Interior and chrome is pretty much gone. Cars original transmission tunnel is still solid and in tact. The soft top compartment is in tact. The original pedals are there but the original floors & most of the rockers are gone. New floor and trunk pans provided ($1000 value). TO THE RESCUE IS a rock solid complete Mercedes 190 SL chassis from California. This 190 SL chassis has both complete suspensions, steering box, floor cross braces, transmission tunnel. Solid rockers and rails from front to back, side to side. Have your welders complete the job and you'll have a big start on a 190 SL. Its a big project but these cars go for high dollar once restored. CLEAR TITLE for export. We recommend this car only going on an enclosed trailer. If desired we can have it delivered in the Southeast in an enclosed trailer 2nd engine is from our other auction . It is a running 190 engine block and its matching 190 head. Will include this with winning bid. Just lowered the BUY IT NOW and the reserve is much lower than it has been. IT WILL BE SOLD THIS AUCTION.
