Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1972 Ford F250 Highboy 4x4 pickup. Truck is in amazing shape. In the last 2 weeks it has under-gone an extensive change. We have spent countless hours working the rusty eye sores with 100% metal, NO BONDO. The truck has approx. 20k miles on a rebuilt 390 Big Block mated to a 4 speed transmission with granny 1st gear. It also has the desired divorced transfer case and 2 freshly gone through axles. Dana 60 in the rear and a dana 40 up front. After the metal working was complete, we primed the truck and then coated it with a dark gray base coat, followed by 2 coats of hot rod flat black and finished off with a small tasteful lime green pin stripe along the factory body line. All of the underside has been coated with gloss black paint NOT UNDERCOATING so there is nothing hidden behind layers! What you see is what you get with this truck and she is nice! The inside is a custom marblized look all over with a new Pioneer am/fm/cd player with aux input on the front. It also has a one off black Brass Knuckles headliner. All fluids are fresh in this truck from engine oil to axles and she runs any where in a moments notice and is often a daily driver for me when my other cars are being serviced or just because it is a blast to drive and turns heads where ever it goes! The truck is currently on 16.5 inch Eagle Alloy wheels that have just been wet sanded and buffed and is running 38" Super Swamper tires with EASILY 90% tread left so there is NO worries about having to buy tires any time soon. The truck also has had a gas tank relocation done to under the bed facing the rear and a trick Camaro liscense plate flip down bracket to allow filling easily through the bumper and is hidden when not needed. The factory filler whole on the cab has also been shaved. The windows were just tinted three days ago to 20% on both sides and the rear window. Please read this line carefully !!!!!- This truck has a rebuilt title, NOT, I repeat NOT a salvage title! In the state of Virginia, if you switch a trucks cab out (were the VIN is stamped to the windshield) you must apply for a rebuilt title in order to title it 100% legally. When you do so, a Va DMV inspector comes out and inspects the car/truck thoroughly to make sure it is 100% legitamate. That is what was done here. The original cab was rusted horribly so it was switched with a virtually rust free 1972 2WD cab and it was inspected and issued a new Vin plate, which was riveted into the door jam BY DMV and granted a rebuilt title so there will never be an issue of mismatch VINs when selling, repairing, titling, ETC. The cons- this truck is able to be driven home as is, but here is what it needs to be completed. It needs a speedometer cable (the original broke on saturday) and is available through LMC Truck for 17.00. The seat is an ugly tan and has a few rips but several local upholstry shops have estimated it at under 200 to recover in a custom material in black. Lastly, the dash board has some cracks in it. JUST THE PAD UP TOP which can be either replaced completely or covered. Either method is very inexpensively repaired and ALL PARTS FOR THIS TRUCK ARE AVAILABLE through LMC should anything become needed in the future. This is a chance to own a very mild custom piece of Ford history with little to no elbow grease needed. Please let me know if you have any questions at all and thank you very much for your time and consideration. 4x4 ford truck mud lifted custom truck race f series f250 superduty hot rod rat rod streetrod show truck restored
