Yesterday afternoon i went to turn on the car and check engine light & the battery light came on. I was not sure if i would be able to make it on long distance errand i had to do so i decided to go around the block to test it. After going around the block as i was approaching my driveway i noticed a loss of power but enough power to make it up my drive way. I did a little reseach and everything leads me to believe that the battery is going bad or is bad. I have also read that when buying an old prius you should have in mind to replace the battery because they can go without an signs like this car did. I can not invest an more money into this car so i will lower the reserve and make my loss someones gain. If the reserve is not met then i will get the battery fixed or replaced..
