Vehicle Detail

1969 Fiat 850 Spider. No Rust. Paint is older (not original) and has various chips. Wheels have been sand blasted and repainted. New tires. Front brake lines have been replaced along with the calipers and brakes. Has all 4 new shock absorbers. All rear axle boots have been replaced. Engine: It is a rebuilt 903cc (100GBC) from a 1971 Sport Spider. The head was completely done, including valves and springs. The motor was bored .030 over (don't remember what the metric equivilent is) New pistons, rings, main bearings , rod bearings, and oil pump. New timing gear and timing chain. Has not been run, needs carburetor to complete (Weber 30 DICA). I have one, and the old one for the small engine, but will need rebuilt or replaced. Flushed radiator and installed new thermostat and water pump. Installed new clutch , pressure plate and throw out bearing. Transmission shifts as it should. The seats and sun visors have been reupholstered. Has a new dash. The carpet is new, but not great (low quality). I have extra, pretty much everything. There are 6 or 7 boxes full of parts. Extra : heater core, radiator, all glass including windshield, transmission and motor (the original , running, no smoke 100GBS (smallest motor) I drove the car before I pulled the motor. Bumpers, lights, lots of small parts. Have two tops (no vinyl) It will need a replacement convertible top. I have the Haynes 64 - 74 repair manual and the original 1st edition hardbound 1969 Fiat 64-69 workshop manual. All of the wiring to the lights are in place, but none of the lights are currently wired. The primered section in the passenger corner is where is I started to sand out paint chips. To my knowledge it has never been wrecked and is currently titled and licensed. I have a bunch of $$ in this, but am forced to sell.On Apr-07-12 at 14:11:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a lot of questions. Been working on it off and on for more than 2 years. Please consider it an unfinished project. It will take skills to finish. I'd rather you didn't bid it you aren't up to it. Starting bid is about half of what I have in it
